EP: Learn from the past
Little did Peter know that a coffee date with his sister in the summer of 2023 would change the course of his personal and musical endeavours. This unexpected, yet pivotal conversation inspired Peter to go home that very night and write ‘Stand Tall’ - a track that at once urges and inspires men to stand up against domestic and family violence. Whilst this song was featured in the debut album of his band Jump The Shark, it has since spiralled him into a six month journey of reflection on his life, his family history and the many inspiring women around him.
And that is how ‘Learning From The Past’ was born - a concept album that explores the extraordinary feats of women in the face of adversity, love that was found and lost, the need to listen to one another, and what it means to be a man in today’s world. It is a deeply moving, inspiring and ultimately uplifting album that at once invites us to do better in the future, whilst also appreciating all the beauty that exists around us, right now.
