EP: Learn from the past
Little did Peter know that a coffee date with his sister in the summer of 2023 would change the course of his personal and musical endeavours. This unexpected, yet pivotal conversation inspired Peter to go home that very night and write ‘Stand Tall’ - a track that at once urges and inspires men to stand up against domestic and family violence. Whilst this song was featured in the debut album of his band Jump The Shark, it has since spiralled him into a six month journey of reflection on his life, his family history and the many inspiring women around him.
And that is how ‘Learning From The Past’ was born - a concept album that explores the extraordinary feats of women in the face of adversity, love that was found and lost, the need to listen to one another, and what it means to be a man in today’s world. It is a deeply moving, inspiring and ultimately uplifting album that at once invites us to do better in the future, whilst also appreciating all the beauty that exists around us, right now.
A song inspired by two generations of men sent to war, and the troubles that faced them. It speaks to the futility of fighting and the lasting impact it had on both their lives and their families.
She's Gone is an emotional ballad about lost love, and the regret the followed not being able to be present in the moment.
This track encourages us to reflect on how how fortunate we are to be born and live in Australia, and encourages us to be brave enough to make the most of the opportunities presented to us.
AMELIA
Amelia is an ode the extraordinary achievements of the pioneer and pilot Amelia Earhart. Her courage and determination in the face of adversity is inspiring to this day.

This short, instrumental piece in the middle of the album encourage you to sit and reflect on your feelings. What emotions does it evoke for you?
STAND TALL
Stand Tall is an anthem, calling on men to stand up against domestic and family violence. It encourages men to view and treat women and children with the respect and love they deserve.
YOU DON'T KNOW HOW I FEEL
Like the title suggests, this song speaks to the disconnect that builds between partners and friends when we stop listening to each other.
REAL MEN
Real men explores themes of masculinity, role models and self identity.
